ok..so i've been using a slider instead of a flip top for...about a month. now, i've heard that sliders will damage your ps2's motor...well, i'm planning on getting hdadvance and a fliptop by next week...and i'm wondering: my ps2's working fine, but will the cd tray be alright from now on, or will my past use of a slider have affected my ps2? did it wear out a certain part of a ps2 or something?

    just curious.

you should be fine. I wouldn't spend my money on hdadvance though. You can just download it and load a burnt copy (or put it on your memory card).
