slim ps2 & linux

    is there anyway to use linux with slim ps2 --sorry for my poor english :)

    no there's not. you hafta have the hard drive for all 3 distros of linux for the PS2. (red hat, debian, & gentoo). and the debian and gentoo distros were compilied on the fact that you have the red hat version installed (not available for ntsc format anymore).

    i think to do with usb hdd.(install to usb hdd and run on usb hdd) (but i heard linux is 2cd and usb advance doesnt accept to change image for the "insert cd2" ...

    no you cant install it on a usb hdd it has to be an internal hdd.ps2 linux looks for the internal hdd to install itself on. so basically you need the fat ps2 with a hdd in it and the playstation 2 linux kit.
