Slim PS2 online w/Laptop

    Hi

    I have a laptop computer with high speed wireless internet access (i also have access to dsl with an ethernet cable it that works better) and i am trying to play both back-up and original games online on my premodded ps2 dms4 slim ps2. what do i need to make this work? do i have to have a desktop?

    i hope you didn't use the id off your original for your backup.

    if you have a router nearby and are able to directly connect the PS2 to it, then do it that way. Otherwise you need to get into ICS and all kinds of trouble. Not to mention that you need the laptop beside the ps2 for that time.

    Also you need to patch the games that are copied to be able to play online and you still run the risk of getting bumped by sony. and you wont get past the DNAS check if your mod chip is active anyway. SO you need to use SM discs instead to boot the copy up for online.
