Hi, my slim tool part C dosent click in, I have to tape it so it stays down, is that normal?

its the long part that goes inside the ps2 to click the 3rd switch.

It pops up when I close the ps2 door.

Ive tried everything to keep it down and nothing works.

    Hi,

If you bought the slim tools then you'll probably not want to open up the console, but if you don't mind to do it try the following: (if you use the waranty sticker as a hinge, it will not rip or leave visible traces so your waranty wont be voided.)

Put a little piece of black electrical tape on the little push in sensor (the one that tool c pushed down) it will do the trick and the door will close fine as long as the top right plastic bit is cut off so that it does not get caught on tool A
