    Hi,
I have a AMD Athlon Barton 3.2 on a Abit NF7-s Board with 1Gb of DDR RAM.
    2 X 160GB Maxtor SATA Drives.

I have been copying DVD's really fast at a rate of 1 every 10 mins and still using my computer on the net, printing covers etc with loads of speed.
But as from today, its gone so slow and sluggish when im buning DVD's. Its takes about 40 mins and its that slow when buring i can use the machine.
Ive checked the DMA all is okay and i have not changed any hardware, or installed any software.
    Please help??

    Nick

Not quite sure what to say,
    but..
if that was my problem, id have to guess something was running in the background or that the ram has to much in its memmory.

Maybe its something as simple as to a disk defrag..
or somehow the spedd settings got switched down..

    Hope this helps..
