I've been using DVD Decrypter for some time now. I decided to use Smart-ripper and Shrink 3.1 to backup a DVD. After using Smart-ripper, I've attempted to use DVD Shrink. It gives me an error message....'can't find IFO file. I go in and look and the file is there. Do I have something set wrong? Thanks so much....forum has been very helpful.

Are you using Open files in Shrink? DVD Shrink is a ripper and compression tool in itself...why use SmartRipper?

    ...just curious...

I wasn't aware that DVD Shrink 3.1 was a 'ripper and compressor'. I thought it was just a compressor. Thanks so much!! You have solved my problem. Indy

lol - yeah - its a big feature of it. on another point, sometimes DVD Shrink cant rip certain DVD's for various reasons and smartripper or DVD Decrypter has to be used. Make sure to rip the DVD in full mode and not Movie only mode as when trying to use DVD SHrink to compress, it can get all fecked up when trying to open Movie only files produced from DVD Decrypter and/or Smartripper
