I tried using smartripper on a DVD but it can't find the key.

Does anyone know a work around for this problem?

You should install ASPI-drivers (from Nero or from Adaptec), they're free. I guess your Smartripper says "No ASPI-adapted available" as you try to start the prog?

Look in folder where you have installed Nero. Search file wnaspi32.dll and copy it to \windows\system32 -directory. Done. Now your smartripper should start / run flawless.

One way to fix this problem is to run the DVD with SW-player (WinDVD or PowerDVD are both good players). Run the movie about 10 secs and _then_ try to open with Smartripper. Should do the job.
If you try this one you don't need to install ASPI-drivers.
