I have got the idea to try SmartRipper for the first time. I have read a guide to use this software but I have still having a couple of problems. When I first start up the program I get the message "No ASPI Access to this drive" and then "Some files still locked". What would cause this?

It's a pain in the butt to sign up for an account on this forum and then find the thread you were previously reading.....hope this helps...

Before running SmartRipper, you must unlock your DVD. All you have to do is play a few seconds of the DVD with whatever you use to play movies (PowerDVD or whatever) and then close the DVD player and run SmartRipper. That should fix it.
