I am trying to backup my SNL 25 years and when i use DVD Shrink 3.2 to encode and it gets about 25 % done and it locks up my computer - I cleaned the DVD multiple times and it still does it - Any ideas?

Try ripping with DVD Decrytper first.

Ok - I tried Decrypter and it worked fine but then i went and used DVD Shrink to shrink it and it locked up again. So then i tried DVD2one and it locked up using that also - Any other suggestions?

Yes - this only happens with the SNL disk - I have Windows XP, 512mb of RAM, 1.8 GHZ P4 processor and 90 GB of free space on my HDD.

You've got a bad disc from the factory, have you tried cleaning the disc?
