I just got Swap Magic 3.6 and it's telling me on the case it came in that a no-solder modchip is required! I was under the impression that swap magic acts as a soft mod and wouldn't be required. What gives? I hope I don't have to buy a modchip now, i suck at electronics :(

Swap Magic only requires a slight 'softmod' to work correctly.

Version1-11 ps2's require either a fliptop lid or use of a slidecard device.

Version12 pstwo's require either a replacement fliptop lid, slimtool, or variation of the tapemod.

These are the main choices to use along with the SwapMagic discs.
