Why won't my Wavebird work with GCOS v1.x? It just continually flashes a message on the screen to insert a controller. I have to plug in a regular controller, boot the game, then swap the controller out with my Wavebird if I want to use it. Any ideas? Wasn't there an issue with the Wavebird that was suppose to be fixed in the later versions of GCoS?

Have you tried any of the earlier builds of GCoS?

Excellent post - I just got my sd media launcher and fuji dvd-r disks . i burnt image of zelda twilight using imgburn and it failed to read, i burnt it again using clone cd and hey presto - all working. i didn't have to adjust my laser either so i'm well pleased.

Incidently i also burnt Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (the american version) and this plays fine on my pal gamecube.

Anyways just thought i'd share this and thanx again

What version of GCoS are you using? and what settings are you using to run an NTSC game on your PAL gc?

the melted pen and 5/32 wrench thing also works on the cube to remove those troublesome screws. i prefer the pen method because its "specialized".

Couple questions - It is stated that DVD-R must be used, I have seen others say DVD+R works fine. Can anyone clarify this, as I have a + burner and would love to avoid having to go out and get a - burner special for this
*What is the advantage in the larger capacity 2gb version for this application ? Is this simply a standard 2gb sd card that can be user supplied ?
