I got an email recently about a program that sounds rather close to DVD X Copy. The program is called DVD Wizard Pro. Has anyone heard of it, or used it yet?

Here is a link for the website:

With DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter being very good and free, I don't see any reason to spend $$ on software.

DVD Shrink will interface with Decrypter (or Nero if you have it) and make the whole process very easy :)

If you do want to spend money, there are good $$ apps that are proven and reliable like CloneDVD and Copy to DVD.

I haven't tried to use DVD Dcrypter yet, I have tried DVD Shrink. DVD Shrink works for me up to about 93% and then it crashes out. I thought that it might have been the drive I'm using (NEC) so picked up a Plextor. http://www.plextor.com/english/products/708A.html and still get to about the same spot in the burn. I'm starting to think that it might be the DVD itself. I have made sure that the disc is clean, no scratches. The DVD is Second Hand Lions.

I'm really just wanting to make a back up, so I can use it with FairUse to make a small AVI from some of the footage. My father did someof the special effects there, and I am attempting to get some of his shots for a demo reel for him.
