software for dual layer burning

    I just bought a new dvd burner, my old one broke.

    the burner can burner a 4X dual layer dvd

    Is there a software that can burner straight from a movie disk to a dual layer DVD.

    Currently I compress my movies and then burner them.

    I'm hopeing to find a software to burn without compressing that is legal in the us.

    You're in luck. All you need is DVD Decrypter, which is freeware btw. It rips and burns, and is a GREAT piece of software.

    All you do is rip the DVD9 to your HD in ISO read MODE. Then burn the ISO to a blank DVD9 using ISO write MODE.

    ETA: If you find you like the software(and trust me, you will), you should consider giving a modest donation to the programmer who created it.
