    I didnt know where to put this thread so i put it in here hoping im right but i have my own home videos that i put on my computer and i wanna upload them on youtube for my friends and family to see but there way to big to upload what software will alow me to split the video into multiple files so i can get it small enough to upload it on youtube please any help given is appreciated

    I don't think you should do that. Its alot easier to upload the file to SendSpace or Rapidshare. You can split the files into pieces with HJSplit (free) if you need to.

    you can also use windows movie maker to compress it.open up movie maker and do ur editing and once done publish it "to this computer".i've done all my work this way and it works fine.youtube allows you to upload max 100mb.
