is it possible to charge rechargable batteries with solar cells?
i think it might be possible, if this works it's a good idea
Yes This is how all solar cars work and most solar devices.
What you need is the bateries
A solar cell
and Most important you need to connect the solar panel to the battery or pack using a diode. The diode will conduct current in only one direction, and only when the cathode voltage is positive relative to the anode voltage by a specified amount. This is needed as solar cells can drain the battery when not being excited with sun or a desk lamp.
Diodes can be purchased at radio shack or equivalent for less than a dollar.
thanks...i was wondering about controlling the flow
