    Quick question:

After scratching off the lacquer surrounding the VIAs, can one simply draw a trace using a conductive pen (silver) to the copper ring? (Then a solder point can be made anywhere on the conductive trace.)

Or must a wire be placed into the hole to make contact, and then be soldered?

    Thanks!

Guess this question also determines on Type of VIA.

For example, is it a feed-through VIA?
