i managed to share the music folder on my vista desktop with our vista laptops. problem is that our xp laptop won't detect the vista desktop that has the music; only seeing itself in network. the vista desktop/laptops can see the xp laptop, though. anyone manage to fix this situation? EDIT: finally can see the vista computer by downloading the LLTD patch and SP3 from microsoft (run LLTD patch first, then SP3; LLTD patch will refuse to install on SP3 saying it's been applied already but it hasn't), but now the vista computer is denying access to the xp laptop. EDIT 2: SOLVED. had to turn off the password protection. doesn't matter since my wireless is already encrypted.
