I bought some blanks cds in bulk (dont remember the brand, but decent one). I wrote data at 24x speed, using samsung writer. Some cd-drives are able to read this without trouble (including the ones I used to write). But some drives, on win2k give a message "unable to find the disk. insert cd-rom". this happens on some machines, while some other, of the very same make and configuration are able to read it. Very annoying, as I have to beg the owners of the machines to allow me copy the data from my cd.

Any ideas? Should i change my write speed to something else? Please help, as I still have data to be burnt to cd.
