I am a newbie. Please Help!!
Some of my DVDs wont play on my Sony DVD player. It is 4 years old. When I play DVD, I get a message " No DISC". The DVD is original (not burned). The same DVD will play on my other DVD player(Panasonic).
What do I have to do to fix this problem. Is there a kit that will fix the DVD player?, or is it a problem with cleaning the Player? or anything else. Please help.

I had a Toshiba a few years ago that would not play many newer DVDs. I contacted Toshiba and explained my problem. They had me send them the player for a free upgrade. It worked perfectly after that.

Cleaning the laser is always a good idea. I use a Philips DVD Laser Lens cleaning disc.
