My little thumb wheel that goes from off to on and toggles between one and like a preview video download setting. The thumb wheel with the little green button to turn it on and off. And the lens cover are both sticky! Damn near impossible to get the camcorder to turn on or open the lense when it has been sitting for a week or so. Only 2 years old.

Any suggestions on getting this fixed? or toss and get a new one.

Never really has taken that good of video. I thought the digital format would be better than it is. Not very bright video and it is grainy.

Thanks for your help in advance.

If you recommend me tossin it, what would you buy? Could I get a good video camera for about 500 bucks? Good video on a plasma/LCD 40+ inch tv???

    Thanks again.

Yeah, for $500 you should be able to get a decent model. If your picture is grainy, I assume that you shoot a lot indoors and you have problems with low light capbilities. Chack foe that if you go for a new one.
