    Hi guys,

Ive just bought one of these today, and have to say am quite impressed.

im new to this so i just wanted to ask a few questions.

    1) is the camera any good?
    2) when i connect to my tv, (Samgung 32" HD) the quality doesn't seem as good as i thought it would be, even when i use the supplied software to burn to dvd im not that impressed?

Anything i should do or am missing?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dan

That's a hard drive camcorder. It records directly in MPEG-2 which is the format for DVD. Make sure taht you use the highest quality setting when recording.
You should be able to get decent quality out of it, but it will not be as good as a decent miniDV camcorder.
