I have two computers with similar specs that both have a DRU540A in them. One continues to work fine, but the other suddenly (after 100+ successful burns) doesn't like -R media. DVDInfoPro sees no media at all and Decrypter shows "incompatible media" in the status bar. I've uninstalled the secondary IDE channel and allowed WINXP (SP2) to reinstall it (along both optical drives), but it still will only recognize and burn +R media. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear from you.

    Thanks in advance,

    DF
