Problem Sony DVD player: some wmv files play with black screen

hello, first post. I have a Sony blu Ray DVD player and I have several videos I have transferred from my computer to a flash drive, all the videos play on VLC on my computer but when I play them on the DVD player some play perfectly but other play sound but not video(black screen), I also have noticed that some files play on my computer but on the dvd it says file is corrupted.

Any idea how to fix this? I’ve tried converting the files with a free converter but the final file is huge and seems to have less quality than the original.

 

Apart from comparing the information of the playable and unplayable using MediaInfo, I can't say.
