    Hello

I just bought a DVD Sony DVP-FX930 Player.

I cannot get DVD's I burn to play back on it.

    I have tried DVD+RW and DVD+R.

    Any tips would be appreciated.

    Thank you

First, I'd try burning at a slower speed. I burn at 8X maximum, even on 16X discs.
If that doesn't work, try another brand of blank discs.

Have you tried Bitsetting (Booktyping)? Bitset your DVD+R discs to DVD-Rom. It makes it more like a store bought movie, and more compatible with players. Here is a guide on how to Bitset:

    Good luck!
