Sony DW-U10A

hi there, could someone please tell me something sbout this drive. i cant find it anywhere.
the site that is selling it says that it is "the OEM Updated version of the DRU500A DVD Writer"

any help would be gr8

this is a OEM version of the DRU500A with slightly different read /write specs. More importantly, Sony indicated to me when I asked about this drive, that it will not be supported by them.

The latest DRU500AX contains the 10f firmware revision, while flashing the DRU500A with the 10f firmware version will give the drive the same specs as the DW-U10A.

I've been made to understand that there may be minor software and packaing changes.
