    Sorry for the Nebie Questions but I'm getting the hang of things but am stuck on what this file is and what to do with it? Thanks for the help. t.

    It can be tons of things, as extensions are not standardized. In what relation you've met this file -- video editing/burning/authoring or software installation or what...`?

    SPC stands for at least these things:

    -software publisher certificate (Microsoft extension)
    -Speech Pascal Compiler
    ...tons of physics programs use this one, etc..

    Well I was origanlly thinking in terms of DVD ripping when I demux a file I end up with the video track and a few ac3 tracks and a few .spc files. I can't traslate them and I don't know what they are. I wish I did. I'm trying to reassemble parts of the DVD to fit on a 4.7 DVD-rand I don't know what to do with these files. thanks in advance for the help
