hey, i connected 2 speakers(directly to tv without amp) from a JVC cd player that i had to my Proscan big screen tv but they dont seem to work. You can barely hear anything. You have to stick your ear on the speaker to hear something and its almost nothing. The wires are those regular speaker wires(red and black). Can anyone help??

You may have to go into the TVs menu and select the correct audio output.

Could be. Have you tried messing with the audio choices in the tv's menu?

is the 2 new speakers your putting in your tv is bigger or has way more watts than your originals? if so, your tv dont have enough juice to run it. an amp will definitly change things.
