I was just going to buy a spindle of Taiyo Yuden DVD's and was wondering which speed is better to buy. The 16x are about 10.00 dollars more but I do all my burning at 8x speed with no problem. My last purchase was the 16x disc's but could I get away with burning at 8x speed on a 8x speed disc or is it better to burn at 8x speed on a 16x speed.

Please help the sale ends soon!

    Thanks

    Hi sgtwarpig
You should be good burning the 8x Taiyo Yuden at 8x - it's what I've burned Taiyos at for a few years now w/o problems.
But either 16x at 8x or 8x at 8x should be good.

using the 8x or 16x doesn't matter as far as the quality goes both are equal. burning at 8x max. is def best so get the 8x and save a few bucks
