    Hi,

Are you using your 107 to rip? Has the firmware been hacked?

DVD Burners come from the factory with the read speed for DVD videos capped at 2X so unless you flash the drive with a hacked firmware to unlock the read speed or use a DVD ROM to rip (recommended) your speeds will be slow :)

i assume you are talking about ripping speed, right? not burning speed. you can alter this by update (flashing) the firmware on your dvd drive. for firmware, go to doom9. btw, i get up to 9.2x ripping speed on my toshiba sd-m1502 :))
