    Thanks Attar for your post.

    Have you used this software?

It obviously does the job but I am having difficulty setting the separate filenames.

I am a noob at this and starting to wonder whether it's worth all the hassle!

In my case I am producing Parts 1 and 2 of Battle Los Angeles.

Every attempt I have made so far to create separate filenames has failed.

The guide doesn't really help me.

    Can you help?

I have now tried mkvmergegui and it has separated the files.
I have then gone on to use tsmuxer and mkv2vob but neither program likes the separated files.
A 10 mile trip to buy dual layer discs seems an attractive proposition at present but I don't want to give up.
    Can anyone help?
