    Hello,

I have a newbie question. Now, I've never really burned a DVD sucessfully that would play on more than one DVD player.

I just recently obtained a whole bunch of movies that are subbed by .srt files (the videos are .avi). Is there a way I can burn the DVD and keep the subtitles on?

    Help would be appreciated,

    Thanks.

Yeah, I ended up figuring that out. Using that to merge the subs with the AVI. Then I used AVI to DVD convertor.

After I burned it, it played fine but the subtitles were cut off completely. They still show on the computer but not on TV that well (they are really cut off). Also, if I fast forward from my DVD player, the sound loses sync with the video.
