I have a serious problem with backing up star wars films.

    It is like this:
I have a media server at home serving my other PC's and I have all my dvd's backed up except the ones with forced subtitles.

The Star Wars films are a particular annoyance. I am trying to convert them to play on my PC at home, but the forced subtitles, i.e when jabba or any of the other aliens speak, there are no subtitles.

The other thing I have found is that sometimes when trying to convert, it will do the beginning of the film and then return to the scrolling titles and start again!!

I am using all sorts of programs, Auto GK, Nero Recode no.1 DVD ripper and they all do the same! I have region 2 disks. Can anyone tell me what subtitle tracks need to be turned on for forced subs?

Hmmm... I have no problems with forced subtitles, using Region1 DVDs.
I use the latest DVDDecrypter and GordianKnot v.33.2 with DivX Pro.
Always use DVDDecrypter in IFO mode and then run GKnot (or AutoGK) on VOBs on your HD.
Forced subs are supposed to be just that - forced :)
    Anybody else having these problems?
