starting a raid setup

    hey all i recently had to reinstall my windows is and didnt set up raid at that time. well i can see now that my pc runs better under raid but now i have questions..
    ok 1 drive has the windows os
    2nd one is empty
    can i go into my setup and make it into a raid setup again without having to reinstall my software, os etc?

    are you trying to make RAID 1 or 0? One is an exact back-up, the other is making 2 hard drives into one, making reading and writing data faster.

    you would have to re-install windows to creat a raid 0.

    First you have to go into the bios and set up the raid, then all the data on both drives will be wipped.
