I have transferred DVDXCOPY PLATINUM TO A NEW COMPUTER.
Normally when I click the "SIMPLE" tab, I would get a
popup asking if this DVD is a rented or borrowed DVD.
I would click NO and the program would proceed. Now
on the new computer I get the following popup "Could
not load your drive information, please run the Drive
    Selector."
Since I am a newbie to all this I very much look
forward to an explation to what this means and how I
may proceed from here. Many thanks fellow members.

If you're starting with a new computer, what a golden opertunity to start with some new current upto date copying programs. Give those programs talked about in these Forums a try. You will be amazed at the results.

Hi there Dennis, welcome to aD,

When you installed XCopy it checks what drives you have, when you have more than one, it asks you to select which burner you wish to use as a default for XCopy. During your installation, no drive was selected as a default for XCopy.

I suggest you uninstall and then reinstall so the selection can be made -

    Pete
