starview bad flash

    hi i have a first generation starview and flashed it with genuine starview firmware and worked grand for couple days now it will not turn on..there is definately power at the box but still nothing

    and do i just use a null modem cable to do this???

    can any1 please explain to me bit by bit how to do this.im a bit slow wen it comes to electronics ha ha

    i cant download the tutorial..keeps coming up like a bin file
