    Hello,

    Please can you help me. There are some channels missing on my starview box on NTL. I am missing the Sky Sports 2 and Zone Horror channels.

    My brother has got the same starview box with the same software and he can get the missing channels. I have checked his box for the frequencies for Sky Sports 2, which is 731,000khz and Zone Horror, which is 395,000khz.

    When i do a manual scan for these two channels using the frequencies, the level and quality is 0%. I have also tried automatic scan, but this does not find the missing channels.

    Is there anyway of searching for the missing channels?

    Thanks very much.

    Are you on the same provider as your brother? If so what is it and where are you located?

    Yes, we have the same provider - NTL. We are located in Luton.

    Thanks for the frequencies. When I do a manual scan on the frequencies provided, the following happens:

    1. A manual scan on 411.000 yields all of the channels i already have but no Sky Sports 2.

    2. A manual scan on 315,000 has no signal - I get 0% on Level and 0% on Quality. When i do a manual scan, i get no channels found.

    I have checked the frequencies on my brother's starview box and it is 731,000khz for Sky Sports 2 and 395,000khz for Zone Horror. When I do a manual scan on both of these frequencies, i get no signal - 0% for level and 0% for Quality.

    Also, my brother and I have old firmware installed in our starview boxes. The information is as follows:

    API ver: 2.57e_E
    Boot ver: 7.0
    16. Aug. 2006

    Does that make a difference?

    Thanks

    It should not make a difference in regards of the channels you are getting .

    You could try another autoscan and see if it picks it up , check the end of your channel list and it should be there

    You could update the box to the latest firmwa*e

    You will need to know if you have a clone or genuine

    Count the vents on top

    18x7 = Clone
    25x7 = Genuine

    Also you can go here to see some pics
