When you press Bin File you should get a pop up box to browse and locate the 4.00 firmware you downloaded

    Updating Firmware

Connect your box and PC with a Null modem cable and switch on the cable box and put it on STANDBY.
(The Starvi*w does not need to be connected to TV to update it with GTROM)

Open GTROM Loader software make sure that you set the correct COM PORT
that matches the one that is being used

Make sure App file only is selected, then click Bin File & browse to the firmware where you downloaded it to on your PC.

Run the GTROM loader by pressing Download and you will see the % progress increase
then Download completed message on your PC.
Wait until you see the DOWNLOAD COMPLETE pop up on your PC before
removing the NULL MODEM CABLE. The Starvi*w will then reboot

Disconnect from PC and connect back up to the TV

Ok some b0xes that come with 4.54 installed are missing the logo file

You will need to update the b0x with a NULL MODEM CABLE

You will need version 4.50 IRELAND firmware for THE B0X found in "THE B0X" firmware folder.

You will need version 4.51 UK firmware for THE B0X found in "THE B0X" firmware folder.

if your box comes with the v4.54e on it you do not have to load the logo file all you need to do is put the v4.54e_E on it only earlier versions of this you have to put the logo file on i will upload the v4.54e_E to the eko site now if you want to get it you do of course need to use the new loader to load the firmware which i will also upload when you have the firmware on your box you will have to rescan your channels back in again ok

Make sure the incoming cable is in "Cable Input" at the back of the SV.

    Try this

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit
