hiya there. i'm just afterbuying the starview box there. but when i update the channels only couple of them are working. rest are saying scrambled or bad connection. do any of ye know whats wrong. my API is 4.54e and boot ver is 7.0
when you press 1570 it brings up another menu look on the bottom and you will see EMU scroll right and switch this on ok
ok did you only get the box was it flashed or unflashed when you purchased it if so the box needs to be flashed go to the codes page and you will see all the information is there for you
not sure if its flashed or not. does that mean so i'll have to up load it to my computer and flash it den
yes you will need the gtrom loader and the V4.54e_E for your box you will find all that on the eko site inc the tutorial for how to do it ok
anybody know is there a file that will let the starv--w 257eE update itself like the 400eE or can I flash it with the 400eE bin file, also is the channeleditor file on 4 shared for dublin N*L Thanks Anto.
i think there is another way of getting to the menu bit i cant remmeber it. lo aboutin a few of the forums im sure you'll find it
if you go into menu, go parental control then press info on remote followed by 2004 I think thats the way in
Or just press menu and type 1570 on remote. If you have just received the box you will need to reflash it to enter the CAS menu.
Excuse me but i need some help I have a starview1 (original) box and i accidentally updated the firmware with TheBox firmware. Now the box doesnt turn on and only 3 green lights flash across.
