starview clones safe!

    WILL TAT DEFO WORK ON CLONES HAS IT BEEN TESTED TO AUTOUPDATE

    it works on clone and it autoupdates.and take the caps lock off its against forum rules

    hi i ahve version 259e-e that came on my clone will the fix bring that back and not effect it

    2.57 fixed is api 2.57 with the autoroll working.so if yo flash your clone that is 2.59 it will be 2.57

    just downloaded that s/v fix to the box and turned it on and the display is just showing a little blip going around but nothing happenin any ideas

    flash it back to the old firmware

    make sure you load the firmware right.leave the box on the main menu press download and wait until it says download complete on your computer.because you have done a bad flash.so just load the firmware you were using

    looking for origional update to download 259e cant find it and when i log on ot cableuk it wont let me download

    got the 259 back and seems to work but the 257 doesnt seem to on the clone box im in dublin

    This may sound like a stupid question, but will this work on non-clones too? The reason I ask is because I might be flashing a few boxes, and while I know my own is a clone I'm not sure about the others.

    So 2.57 (or 257) is the latest software available for starviews, and this is the clone-safe version?

    hi

    still nervous about flashing my box with V4.00 an killing it if it is a clone. Heatsink is as described. Is there any danger this could be a cloned box or is the heatsink a definate way of identifying it
