StarView Expert - have old firmware needs update

and STARVIEW_H20070607_400eE_api date is 29-06-2007

which file I should use?

 

Either one as they are both the same just a duplicate file upload.

 

can I see virgin paid movies or sky box office movies on starview if so then how?

 

If you are talking about video on demand, (front row), you cannot receive these unless someone orders them in your area and you happen to pick them up by an autoscan.

If you are talking about Sly box office events, e.g. wrestling, boxing etc. You will get these by scanning a half hour before the event. Or you may already have the events channel named under TV***, (*** indicates a number).

All other Sly Movie channels you will of course receive.

 

I want to upload new firmware to starview to avoid codes problem.
but I am scared that if something bad happenz to box then is there any way that i can backup old file and if didnt work , i restore it with old data.
if new firmware didnt work can i restore my box?

 

If you have a genuine upate it with v4.00 and the codes will auto roll for you

This wont lose any channel order you have it will just update the firmware and you dont even need to rescan for channels

 

are starview boxes still working in dublin? I cannot test it as i have moved house and have sky. i have installed cryptstar v 1.4 and it is genuine box
