Hi. I have the box super. I updated it with v8.00e and made sure I had the latest keys but i'm only picking up 90 programs on chorus and none of the basic such as RTE. I have even tried manually scanning each frequency and I cant find anymore. Also only 20 of the channels names are coming up and the right channel numbers. The rest are on channel 3000 on the box and just called tv4101 for example. I have tried everything that i can think of. My signal strenght is only 66%. could this be the problem? Can anyone please help? Thanks.
w whats your location roughly on chourus 90 stations is about the most you will get try reset the box and rescan it and see if it picks up the proper names and that
westmeath i thought ntl n chorus were the same. just moved down from dublin where i got 187 programs on box. surely at least there's a box that works properly for chorus or some genius could come up with an update to make it work properly on it. i'v tried that and no names or numbers, has the signal strenght got nanything to do with it? . looks like i'll have to edit it manually. was hoping it wouldn't come to that. doubt i'll have the patience have you tried starview 4 the box usb? sounds good with its ability to record to a external hdd...
unfortunatly there not wen it comes to channels like that with the box put it this way ya dont have all the crap stations lol have not seenthe sv4 yet might have look at it soon tho
any other ideas on how to get the channel names without manually editing them. i few of my mates wana get them but cudn be arsed if they dny know what channel is which and i'm definately not manually editing 5 or 6 boxes. will the low signal strenght effect it i anyway? cheers moggser
The remote has "audio" button on it press it when the audio discription is on and it will ask you on or off
low signal doe s effect it when you scan it alright which does effect the names when scaned n alright
