could it be possible when changing codes from 00 to 01 he types 01 instead of using arrows to change from 00 to 01 ?
yeah i am just after switching off my box and i turned it back on and the codes are still the same ones .then i exited the menu and the screnn just says scrambled or bad channel. i am not sure wat de problem is . can anyone help me.cheers

Ok Simon , try this , you might need to factory set and re-scan Menu > Factory Setting PIN 0000 OK to delete Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on English > Installation Choose N*L etc Automatic Scan Press OK 176 Channels found Exit Menu 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit
hi celts it says on the booklet which i received with the box , that i should never delete factory setting . should i still do it...

hi i hav a star view digital reciever but 90% of my channels hav gone down and are coming up bad or scrambled .. can any one help plz!
lov3ly could be a few things ,if cc changes frequency 4 ch. u lose it, so what we have been doing is a factory reset then autoscan ur cc,then emu to on. are u irl/uk based?
i am uk based .. my provider is telewest / virgin .. my emu is on... i believe i juz need a key data number to type in and a key number.. my provider code is shown as 5a 01 is this correct ..?
