a while ago i had a problem with my starview ,when in epg it would lose program info and then power off and back on again i was told to upload firmware ,new to it all i lived with it instead but now it shuts down at any time.it is a genuine box the api version is 4.50e_E and boot version is 7:00 (5.july.2007)what is the latest version and is there a step by step guide?
That's the latest API for the box 4.50 for Irl or 4.51 for UK. Try re-flashing it again to see does this fix it.
Hi Latest firmware available is version 4.50e_E for Ireland and 4.51 for the UK. You may have a faulty power supply but its worth loading the software in again.You will find it and how too in the link below. http://eko.4shared.com jbvid
