strange file extension VIF file

    i have purchased a new program to convert avi 2 dvd it's called Winmpeg converter options are
    avi to mpeg 1
    avi to mpeg 2
    avi to dvd
    avi to vcd

    when i choose avi to dvd it gives me 2 files
    harry potter.m2v
    harry potter.m2v.vif

    never seen the second file b4 how do i go about authoring after i get them do i treat the second file as a sound file or what

    any help appreciated guys

    I looked it up at http://filext.com and it gave me this info

    Khoros Visualization Image File

    lol, whatever the hell it is!

    ye cce kicks ass. someone told me last night that vif stood for video information file!
