I'm trying to add subtitles to some existing Japanese dvds. I have ripped the movie using dvd shrink and followed the guide for adding subs. The subs play fine when added manually the the ripped movie or viewed in subtitle creator, they are in sync correctly, but when i use muxman to add the subs they start off fine but go more out of sync the longer the movie plays.

I don't know if its related but when i use pcgdemux i get a video file of 44 minutes and an audio file of 1 hour 3 minutes

Is the running time of the actual DVD 63 minutes?
Are you extracting the video and audio with PgcDemux 'Mode' set 'by PGC'.
If so, does PGC#-> show the actual running time.
The m2v output video from PgcDemux is not accurately listed to running time under file properties in Windows Explorer - and I don't know of any player that will show accurate running time.
But going back to the beginning, you should either rip the disk using DVDFab

or at least use FixVts on the DVD Shrink files before demuxing.

Yes i'm using the by pcg option
It shows the movie as 1:03:45

I've just ripped it dvdfab so will give that a go

Edit: Made no difference, still has the delay at the end
