Hey everyone, I'm a newbie to the forums and to burning, so bear with me ;)

I'm burning some anime episodes onto CD-R to play as VCD's on my DVD player. I've done some other series already and they worked fine, but on these particular files, the subtitles were partially hidden at the bottom, so you couldn't read them. When I played them on my computer, it was fine, and the quality was great, even at full screen. I tried changing the display settings on my DVD player, but that didn't work. Any advice? Thanks in advance

Nero. ;) As I've read on here, Nero might not be the best way to encode VCD's. Do you think encoding might be the problem?
