    Hi all.
This may be a ratten place for this topic, but will try anyway.
I am working on a movie project in quicktime (on Mac) and have an srt subtitle file created in sequence with the movie (SubsFactory)...but how do I create a playable DVD (not for use on computer!)? My burn-software won't recognize the srt file.
    Hope someone can help here...

so what format of the subtitle file does your burn software recognize? maybe you should try to convert or rip our srt file to what the burn-software supports.

    Hi sarsss, thanx for responding.
The burnsoftware (Roxio Toast) recognizes these videoformats: AVI, DV, MOV, MPEG-1/2/4, DivX, XviD, VOB, VIDEO_TS folder, iMovie projects, EyeTV recordings, TiVoToGo transfers.
I don't see any file formats in this list referring to subtitle files, but then, I'm no expert here!
    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

suggest to use convertxtodvd to backup your dvd and add the subtitle file.
