    You can make by yourself a SRT file with Notepad (some internet groups do this adding permanent subtitles to japanese cartoons). The .SRT file appears this way:

    1
    00:00:05,505 --> 00:00:08,406
    Captain's log-- Stardate 1329.8.

    2
    00:00:08,508 --> 00:00:12,069
    The U.S.S. Enterprise in pursuit
    of an unidentified vessel.

    3
    00:00:12,178 --> 00:00:14,578
    There he is, sir.
    Center screen.

    4
    00:00:16,583 --> 00:00:19,711
    - Still trying to run from us.
    - Don't lose him.

    5
    00:00:19,819 --> 00:00:21,912
    No, sir.

    .....

    or you can find the correct subtitles, synchronizing to the movie and view the movie with using the subtitles file (e.g. BSPlayer).
    But I haven't understood. Do you want to MAKE an ASCII .SRT file or you want to view the movie with the subtitles provided tou have the correct file?
