Super 7 modchip

    i was wondering if anyone knows this modchip? and if you do can you direct me to their main site?

    do some research and get a good chip or you will be sorry later.

    yeah i did do some research but to no avail.. and i didnt really buy this chip.. sadly, it came with the ps2 v15 i bought

    only time i have even seen that chip mentioned is from people over in India and china where i think it is more popular. It is just a cheap clone chip. As far as what it can do, i have no idea.

    they sell it, so you could write and ask them. I really could not finsd much other than some places selling it, no information on functions.

    yeah.. anyhow thanks for your help steimy ;)

    EDIT: btw about the crystal chip 2.0 something is confusing me
    so this means that it cant play the backups right? then how come its one of the top chips being sold??

    yes, you can play back ups just like any other chip. You just have to download and flash the chip with the hacked firmware available on the internet.

    All chips come with a base firmware that does not play back up games, this is how they can leagally sell them all over. Because without the hacked firmware they do not do anything illegal. So you the user have to flash the chip with a firmware which will give the chip all of the features that you wanted.
