I am debating between the Swap Magic product and a Flip Top for my PS2 Slim (V12). Does anyone know any +/- to either these products? Which one works better? Which one is easier to install?

Also, can PS2 back-up be put on dvd+r media or does it have to be dvd-r media?

Thanks for your opinions and advise!

well, you need to do a little more research. Swap magic is a boot disc. You have to use swap magic AND the fliptop together. and yes, you can use +r.

do a search for either slim tool or PStwo fix

they are basicly the same thing and are the best way to use swap magic disks on a slimline ps2 as they let you not void your warranty and let you close the lid (yes some make it so the lid must stay open)
